We turn unfinished basements into rooms that feel like part of the house, with the moisture and egress detailing done correctly from the start.
A basement is the one room where shortcuts come back to haunt you. Water finds its way in, code requires real egress for any space used as a bedroom, and insulation has to be detailed for a below-grade wall, not an above-grade one. We handle all of it as part of the job.
Before any framing goes up we look at how water moves around and under the slab, where the foundation breathes, and what the existing mechanicals are doing. That assessment drives everything that follows.
What this usually involves
- Moisture assessment and any needed drainage or sealing
- Code-compliant egress windows or doors where required
- Proper below-grade insulation and vapor detailing
- Framing, electrical, and HVAC distribution
- Flooring, drywall, trim, and finish carpentry
The goal is a finished basement that stays dry, passes inspection, and does not announce itself as an afterthought.
