RJD Construction started on job sites, not in a sales office. That is still how we run.
We are a residential design-build and remodeling company working with homeowners who would rather get it right than get it fast-and-cheap. The work ranges from a single bathroom to a whole-house renovation with an addition, but the approach does not change: plan the entire job before demolition, keep the trades that matter in-house, and put one person in charge of your project from the walkthrough to the final punch list.
Why design-build
When the same company plans and builds the project, the drawings reflect what is actually buildable and the budget reflects what things actually cost. There is no gap between a designer's vision and a builder's reality, because they are the same team. That is why our estimates hold up and our schedules mean something.
The trades we keep close
Our carpenters are employees, not a finish crew we find at the end. That is deliberate. Framing accuracy and finish quality are connected, and keeping carpentry in-house is how the trim, the stairs, and the built-ins come out clean. For electrical, plumbing, and HVAC we work with the same licensed partners on every job, so the coordination is routine instead of improvised.
